South Wales
Operations in South Wales are based at our 9-acre rail-linked, short-sea dock at Barry. Recycled metal, received from the Midlands and the local area, is stockpiled then loaded on to ships destined for Spain, Portugal, France, and other European destinations.
Resources include:
» Short-sea terminal with 9.2m draft and 24.0m beam
» 900-tonne Leimbach shear
» Fleet of 5 articulated lorries
Our South Wales heavy-duty shear cuts large demolition scrap and other heavy material, producing products for steelworks and foundries. With direct access to continental European markets via our short-sea dock, we can offer local suppliers a super-fast turnaround.
