Dunn Bros began in 1962 as Dunn Metals Ltd, a Midlands-based, family-owned metal recycling business. Today, Dunn Bros (1995) Ltd operates from four locations in the Midlands, South Wales, South East England, and South West England, and is the UK's top exporter by container of non-ferrous metals. The company is run by a professional management team led by the Dunn family.

The company, which specialises in recovering, recycling, processing, trading, and exporting ferrous metal and non-ferrous metal, has always been ahead of the field. For example, we were the first UK recycler to install a heavy media plant that could separate non-ferrous metals from mixed waste derived from automobiles.

Dunn Bros continues to develop more efficient methods of recycling and waste minimisation. In particular, we are working to increase the recycling rate of non-metallic waste in line with the End of Life Vehicles and Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directives. We never stop improving, especially in the area of our own environmental performance. To this end we operate an IS0 140001 environmental management system.
